Dear Friend who is reading this,
I was reading a reddit post that said: “I lost 200 pounds by finally just sticking to it. I had tried dieting before but I would always lie to myself that it was okay to have a cheat day. Or I would diet for a week but on Sunday eat a whole box of Oreos.
The hard part of losing weight isn’t knowing what to do. It’s being able to do it.”
And after reading that, we know the truth is. Most people think you actually have to do more than is needed.
People will say ‘diet and exercise” and if you can do both. Great. You won’t regret it.
But the truth is. Diet is enough. And diet doesn’t have to mean starve yourself. Just eat less and eat better.
Cut out refined carbs. Make protein and fat a large percentage of your meals. And do not break down and order a large pizza and eat it all for dinner on night 3 because the cravings are kicking in.
We all know why we are overweight. It’s because we eat too much. And what we eat is pasta and pastries and chips.
You don’t have to go from eating that to eating a grapefruit.
You can have bacon and eggs and avocado for every breakfast. You can have steak and salad for lunch and dinner. And you will SHED weight like crazy.
The hard part of losing weight is OVERCOMING ADDICTION.
